If you said, \u201c8\u201d you are a genius.  I actually almost missed one. I forgot about the one over the \u201cI\u201d in the word genius. What does this teach us about life. It reminds us that in every situation we must look at the whole picture.  So often we don\u2019t see whole picture.  This may be because we look too quickly. We don\u2019t take the time to evaluate everything in the situation. In relationships this can cause a great deal of conflict. Even in problems, so often we focus too much on the proverbial \u201ctree\u201d instead of seeing the \u201cforest.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So how can we see the big picture in all situations: relationships, trials and problems, decision making, ministry and so on? We need to seek the Lord and ask him to help us see things from his perspective which is above and different from ours. \u201cFor my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,\u201d declares the Lord. \u201cAs the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.\u201d \u2013 Isaiah 55:8-9. <\/em><\/strong>When we seek his wisdom through prayer and Bible study, we will be able to step back and look at what is happening in a new light. We will see what God has in mind and what God is doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
